UnBarred is an independent Brighton brewery that started in 2014 in founder Jordan Mower's shed. He is still head brewer. The taproom opened in 2019 and the range runs across IPAs, pale ales, stouts and sours - plenty to work through if you are anywhere near the city.

UnBarred Brewery, based in Brighton, describe themselves as inclusive, passionate and adventurous across everything from beer conception to their taproom, and they lean into the city's creative scene by working with local artists and independent businesses. Names include JOOSY (5.1%) and Casual Pale Ale (4.5%), and the rest of the line-up is where they get playful: a Moving Mountains collab with Baron, a Superfruit Morello Cherry at 3.3%, a boozy Barrel Aged Imperial Bueno Shake at 11%, and a Pineapple & Pepper Crumble collab with Permit Room.
