Ridgeway Brewing was established back in 2002 by master brewer Peter Scholey and his wife Vanda. It is a proper husband-and-wife operation built on Peter's brewing know-how, and that founding pedigree still runs right through the range today.
Ridgeway take their name from the ancient Ridgeway path, a historic trade route, and brew with an eye on British brewing heritage alongside sustainability and innovation. CAMRA's Good Bottled Beer Guide called their work "not just a good beer but an outstandingly high quality product." The year-round core range runs to Ridgeway IPA, Ridgeway Bitter, Oxfordshire Blue, ESB, Bad King John, Foreign Export Stout, Imperial Stout, Imperial Red Ale and Imperial IPA, plus a Christmas range (Bad Elf, Very Bad Elf, Lump Of Coal and more) that lands each October.
