Nirvana say they were the first brewery in the UK to dedicate itself entirely to brewing and developing alcohol-free beers. Founded in 2016 in East London by Becky and her family, everything comes in below 0.5% ABV, on the view that nobody should miss out on great beer. It's a certified B Corporation.
Nirvana Brewery set out to fix something that bugged them: non-alcoholic beers were, in their own words, "renowned for being dull, lacking in taste and variety". So they built a range around it: a traditional brewery using their brewing knowledge and technology to make flavoursome alternatives without compromising on good ingredients or taste. The line-up runs Nirvana Pils, Nirvana Helles, Nirvana IPA, Nirvana Best and Nirvana Stout Dark & Smooth. They've also had a Hazy Grapefruit Lager and a Mocha Porter on the go.
