Newbarns Brewery, self-styled Brewers of Leith, was founded in 2019 by Gordon McKenzie, Emma McIntosh, Jonny Hamilton and Fred Bjerkseth, three returning to Scotland after working at breweries including The Kernel, Siren and Beavertown. Their taproom and shop occupy a converted carpenters' workshop at 13 Jane Street, Leith. Beers include Pilsner, Table Beer and Leia IPA, sold by the can or in mixed cases.
