Independent Brighton and Worthing brewery, founded in 2016 out of the Hand in Hand brewpub in Kemp Town, Brighton, where pilot brews continue. Head brewer Kate Hyde won Brewer of the Year at the Women in Beer Awards 2025, sponsored by SIBA. Most beers are now brewed in west Worthing, home to its new taproom The Yard, which opened Easter 2026 after the earlier Canterbury Road site closed.

Founded in 2016 by Jen and Clark Left, who trace it all back to the Hand in Hand pub in Brighton in 2015, Hand Brewing now runs a brewpub in Brighton and a brewery over in Worthing. It's an award-winning, vegan-friendly outfit, with beers like Shaka Original Pale and David Shrigley's Toadlicker on the books. Their Art You Can Drink range does some good too, donating over 20% of its profits to charity every single year.
