The house dates from around the 1830s and took its name in the 1850s from Frederick Mould, a gardener at Avington House who moved in with his wife Elizabeth. Bought back from Whitbread in 1990, and in the hands of Sian Tabberer and David Robinson since 2019. Cheriton, Hampshire.
The core line-up at this Hampshire farmhouse brewery in Cheriton includes the award-winning Pots Bitter, all toffee-amber with a caramel sweetness, alongside Goodens Gold, Perridge Pale, Buster's Best, Cheriton Porter and Flower Pots IPA. Beyond that they keep things moving, rotating through 25-plus seasonal brews roughly every fortnight, from Deck Chair to Wildfire to Over & Stout.
Free delivery Monday to Friday; order before 23:00 and it arrives the next day. Saturday orders come Monday, and there are no Sunday deliveries. Delivery covers Hampshire. Click and collect runs Monday to Saturday 10:00–18:00 and Sunday 12:00–18:00.
