Fixed Wheel Brewery

Blackheath, West Midlands

A mad cyclist's passion for beer grew far enough that he opened a brewery: founder Scott is a former UK racing cyclist, and Christopher came in from York Brewery and Bristol Beer Factory. Hop-forward, full-flavoured beer out of Blackheath, in the heart of the Black Country.

Fixed Wheel brew in the Black Country, and their core cask range has picked up some serious recognition: overall gold in CAMRA's West Midlands Regional Champion Beer of Britain 2018, and voted Supreme Champion too. The house pale itself is easy drinking, sweet malts with citrus and melon notes from Citra hops. The core lineup also runs to Through & Off, Chain Reaction and a 5.0% Blackheath Stout, with cask specials sitting alongside them, exactly as the brewery's own site lays it out.

Free delivery on orders of £30 or more within a 10-mile radius. No nationwide rate is published.
