Brewery
Glenelg, Scotland
In the West Highlands at Glenelg, brewing with their own spring water and organic ingredients directly below Dun Troddan, one of the best-preserved Iron Age brochs in the country. The Dun Inn next door was a cow shed once: dartboard, wood burner, a few beers on draught and hot pies.
Dun Brewing's beers are Soil Association certified organic, brewed with their own spring water, and left unfiltered and vegan-friendly: no finings used. The line-up covers a good spread: Dun Caan, a 4.8% pilsner; Dun Low, a 2.4% session ale; Dun & Dusted, a 5.6% IPA; Dun4, a 4.2% amber pale ale; and Dungeon, a 4.6% porter. Limited editions turn up too, like Dun In, a 6.2% winter ale. Solid organic credentials running right through everything they brew.
