Two couples, one railway arch, 2013: Brixton Brewery set out to put the area on the map for beer and stayed put on Brixton Station Road. Reliance Pale Ale, Atlantic IPA and Coldharbour Lager anchor the range, with a taproom next door pouring small-batch experiments.
Brixton Brewery add a modern twist to traditional brewing styles using the best ingredients they can get their hands on. A partnership with Heineken took them into a purpose-built brewery in 2017, while brewing has continued in that original arch too. Their beers span Atlantic IPA (5.4%), Coldharbour Lager (4.4%), the fruit-charged Electric Tropical Lager (4.0%), Livewire West Coast IPA (6.0%), Low Voltage Session IPA (4.3%) and Reliance Pale Ale (4.2%).
