Born in a Dalston car park in 2015 out of two twenty-foot shipping containers, and grown one container at a time since, which is where the name comes from. Now on the Blackhorse Beer Mile in Walthamstow, still independent, still making fresh modern beer.
40FT Brewery make fresh modern beer with a nod to classic styles. Their line-up runs from Disco Pils, a 4% pilsner, to Dalston Sunrise (4%, hazy pale ale) and Main Squeeze, a 5.5% hazy IPA, plus Rewind, Deep and Jam rounding out the range. Look out too for 40ft & Friends, their run of collaboration beers brewed with other breweries. It's a solid mix of pils, pale and hazy IPA: modern brewing that still tips its hat to the classics.
