Ye Olde Ship Inn is a traditional country pub and inn on Portsmouth Road, Guildford, nestled between the River Wey and the North Downs Way. The pub says people have been drinking there since 1556. Crafty Brewing's Hop Tipple is served regularly on cask, and changing beers typically include Dorking, Greene King Abbot and Hogs Back. Inside, there are little snugs and alcoves, open fires, a wood burning stove and boating memorabilia on many walls. A wood burning oven cooks the stone baked pizzas the pub is known for. The covered garden is open all year round, and dogs are welcome.
