About the pub

The William IV is a country pub and restaurant on Little London in Albury Heath, in the Surrey Hills. It calls itself a 16th century pub. The building was extensively refurbished in 2024 and has beams, flagstones and a large fireplace with a wood fire in winter. There are two traditional bars, with a dining room up a few steps. Regulars include Harvey's Sussex Best Bitter, Surrey Hills Shere Drop and Timothy Taylor Landlord, and the pub says its bar focuses on beers from local breweries. Its food menu is centred on an open grill and wood-fired oven. Seating outside is half under a canopy, and the pub is dog friendly.
