Independent pub · London
Turner's Old Star is a pub on Watts Street in Wapping, east London. It describes itself as one of the few remaining traditional East End pubs. The pub says the painter Turner converted two inherited cottages into a tavern called The Old Star, and that a refurbishment in 1987 led to the tribute name Turner's Old Star. It is Cask Marque certified. Two cask ales are on at the moment, London Pride and Doom Bar. There are screens for Sky Sports.
