The Wild Alderman is a neighbourhood taphouse in Didsbury, at the top end of Wilmslow Road by Parsonage Gardens. The pub says it is owned by the team behind Beartown Brewery, with plenty of Beartown beers on the bar, but it is not a single-brewery taproom. It pours 14 hand picked brews on tap, and promises a rotating line-up of keg and cask from breweries in the UK and beyond. Its name honours Didsbury alderman Fletcher Moss. Food includes burgers and Sunday roast dinners, and a weekly pub quiz is held. Dogs are welcome, and under 18s are allowed with adults until 7pm.
