Independent pub · Ockbrook
The White Swan stands opposite the church in the village of Ockbrook, Derbyshire, and describes itself as a traditional pub with a true community spirit. Cask ale is served, with Timothy Taylor Landlord and Adnams Ghost Ship among the regulars and two changing beers alongside. A log burner sits at the end of the bar, with a sofa in front. Food includes tapas, loaded flatbreads, Saturday morning breakfast and a Sunday roast, and the patio has a wooden food bar with a BBQ and stone-baked pizza oven. There is a large beer garden and a children's play area. Dogs are allowed in the main bar only, and live music is hosted most Saturday nights.
