Independent pub · London
The Waverley Arms is a traditional late Victorian street corner pub in Nunhead, which calls itself Nunhead's very own community pub. It has served the area for over 100 years. The large front room has a central bar, and a separate room at the rear gives access to a small rear garden with smoking area. Guest beers are from local breweries, and the pub lists real ales. Food is gastro quality, the pub says, with community pub portions. There are sports, interactive darts, a quiz, brunch and a Sunday roast.
