Independent pub · Salford
Union Tavern is a Joseph Holt pub on Liverpool Street in Salford, close to the Middlewood Locks redevelopment. It calls itself a classic example of a Victorian Salfordian street-corner local. It serves Joseph Holt's ales and lagers, and CAMRA describes it as a tiled marvel and one of the last survivors of its kind. Inside, a lounge sits to the left, with a vault and pool room at the rear, all served from a central bar. The walls carry Manchester United photographs and memorabilia. Darts are on offer, dogs are welcome and there is disabled access.
