Independent pub · London
The Two Brewers is a Greene King pub on Monmouth Street in Covent Garden, just south of Seven Dials. The pub says its building is 19th-century, though the bar is also said to date from the 1690s. It calls itself a "theatrical pub", long a pitstop for actors and film students. The one-room bar is wood panelled, with backlit coloured glass at the rear and photographs of stage and screen stars on the walls. Cask ale is served, and Greene King Abbot is a regular. Pub food includes roasts, and dogs are welcome.
