Independent pub · Guildford
The Three Pigeons stands on Guildford's historic High Street, at the top of the granite sett stretch. The pub is narrow but deep, with two floors linked by an open plan spiral staircase. It is a listed building dating from 1755, with a Jacobean style facade rebuilt after a fire in 1916. Inside are exposed beams and leaded windows. Behind the bar, the pub says it has a handpicked selection of local ales, and changing beers from local breweries sit alongside key keg lines. Food is British pub fare. Children and dogs are welcome, and there is a rear courtyard for smokers.
