Independent pub · Bristol
The Spotted Cow is on North Street in the heart of Southville and Bedminster, Bristol, and has stood for over 200 years. A refurbishment revealed long-hidden George's Brewery raised lettering on the facade, CAMRA says. Five changing beers feature local independent breweries, typically including Bristol Beer Factory, Hop Union and Twisted Oak. The large walled garden at the rear is described by the pub as a suntrap, with a canopy and heaters in winter. Food is sourced from local suppliers, and CAMRA notes a quiz on Tuesday evenings. There is a single step into the pub, which has an accessible toilet.
