Spinners Rest is a Joseph Holt pub on Bengal Street in Ancoats, Manchester, formerly known as The Shamrock. It says the original pub dates to 1808, and the new name, chosen by public vote, pays tribute to the area's mill workers. Two banks of three handpulls serve cask beer as well as Holt's keg range, and two handpulls dispense Holt's Bitter, one from a wooden cask. Inside is a single large room with lots of dark wood. There is a beer garden, food, and live entertainment. Dogs are welcome, and there is disabled access.
