The Roscoe Head

Independent pub · Liverpool

About the pub

The Roscoe Head is a cosy four-roomed pub on Roscoe Street in Liverpool. It opened in the 1830s and is now a free house with no music. The pub says it is the only pub in the North of England to appear in every edition of the Good Beer Guide since 1974. CAMRA rates its interior as of very special national historic interest, and it was named local CAMRA Pub of the Year for 2024. Six cask ales are available; regulars include Tetley Bitter, Timothy Taylor Landlord and Fyne Ales Jarl. European bottled beers, world wines and locally baked hot pies complete the offer. It is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp on request, and only guide dogs are allowed.
