The Pembury Tavern in Hackney has served pints since 1856, and sits between Hackney Downs and Hackney Central stations. It is home to The Five Points Brewing Company. There are several lines of beer across keg and cask. Five Points Pale and Railway Porter are regular cask beers, with two rotating guest ales and sixteen keg lines alongside. A bar billiards table survives from the refurbishment, and ACE Pizza serves pizza every day. CAMRA's local branch named it community pub of the year for 2020. A pub quiz runs on Mondays, and dogs are welcome.
