The Orchard Inn

Independent pub · Bristol

About the pub

The Orchard Inn is a traditional corner pub on Hanover Place, Harbourside, Bristol, on the corner of Spike Island by the Marina. It was known as the White Horse from 1834 to the 1980s. The pub calls itself one of Bristol's few remaining freehouses, best known for West Country ciders, real ales, a weekly blues jam and doorstop sandwiches. More than 20 ciders are on at any one time, and the real ales are poured by gravity. The Orchard Inn says it was CAMRA National Cider and Perry Pub of the Year in 2009. Dogs, little or large, are encouraged.
