The Old School House stands on the site of the former 19th century Christchurch school, on Liverpool's historic Lark Lane at the edge of Sefton Park. It calls itself a lovely big pub restaurant. The pub says it takes its beer as seriously as its food, with a range of rotating cask ales and around a further dozen European craft ales on draught in the cellar. The food majors in wild sourdough, oven baked wings and wood fired pizza, alongside a pan-European brasserie menu from brunch to dinner. There is also a patio area, a wine list from local suppliers and a cocktail menu.
