The Old Blue Last

Independent pub · London

About the pub

The Old Blue Last is an independent pub on Great Eastern Street in Shoreditch, London, on the corner with Curtain Road. It calls itself a live music venue and east-end boozer, with a seven-day weekly programme, and says it hosted early shows by Arctic Monkeys, Amy Winehouse and IDLES. The pub claims 300 years of history and says it is apparently haunted by Shakespeare. It also says it was the first pub to sell porter. The current brick building dates from 1876, and lunchtime snacks are available. A Sunday jazz session is listed. No real ale is recorded there.
