Independent pub · Liverpool
The Monro is a pub at 92 Duke Street in Liverpool city centre, set within what the pub describes as a late 1700s listed Georgian merchant's mansion. It spans two floors and has two indoor/outdoor beer gardens, with log fires in the colder months. The pub offers an extensive range of cask ales and stouts. Changing beers typically include Black Lodge, Ossett and Titanic. CAMRA says the pub is named after the first scheduled passenger ship to New York in 1817. Hot and cold pies and bar snacks are served. The building is Grade II listed.
