About the pub

The Lazy Dog is a community pub on Ashley Down Road in Bristol, formerly the Ashley Arms. It describes itself as serving high quality food and drink, and says its beers showcase local, award winning Bristol brewers, including Lost and Grounded, Bristol Beer Factory and Arbor Ales. CAMRA lists it as a free house with up to four real ales and two real ciders. The pub also mentions local real cider and two sparkling ciders. It has a large walled beer garden to the rear. The pub says it was inspired by the classic gin palace-style boozers of days gone by. There is a dartboard, and terrestrial TV sport is shown where possible. The pub says it holds a quiz night every Monday. Dogs are welcome.
