The King's Highway is a large, modern Marston's Inns roadhouse in Derby. Inside is one large U-shaped room, broken up by raised areas and an alcove or two. Outside there is seating with a view of the ring road, a smoking shelter and a playground for younger children. The pub says it serves pub classics and a traditional carvery every day of the week. Cask ales are poured, and there is a beer garden and a pool table. Dogs are welcome, there is disabled access, and guests can stay overnight.
