Independent pub · London
The Good Mixer is a pub at 30 Inverness Street in Camden Town, which calls itself one of Camden's most iconic. Its replacement building dates from the 1950s, and it gained a reputation as the drinking pub of choice for bands during the 90s Britpop years. Elastica signed with Deceptive Records here, and Menswe@r are said to have formed here. Today it champions grassroots musicians, with free entry, up and coming bands and DJs, a pool table and a jukebox. TNT Sports is shown, and there is outdoor seating.
