Independent pub · London
The Globe is a Nicholson's pub at 83 Moorgate in London, a short stroll from Moorgate and Liverpool Street Underground stations. The rococo building runs along the line of a Roman Wall. During the 19th century there were 30 pubs in London called The Globe. The spacious main bar has a glass-topped table showing separate sections for barley, hops and yeast. The adjoining Keats bar is where the poet was known to write. Upstairs are a large dining room and a lounge bar with a pool table. The menu is British pub classics, and real ales are served.
