The George Inn is a countryside pub in the village of Abbots Leigh, close to Bristol and the Clifton Suspension Bridge. It calls itself steeped in history. Three cask ales are normally available, and regulars include Butcombe Original and Wye Valley HPA. The bar also offers craft beers and locally brewed ciders. Food is made with locally sourced ingredients, with a Sunday roast and vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. There is a large garden, log fires and a beamed roof space. The pub is dog and family friendly, and has a function room.
