The Garden Gate is a pub on South End Road in Hampstead, London, close to Hampstead Heath and Parliament Hill. It describes itself as allegedly offering the best al-fresco fun in North London, with one of the finest beer gardens in the capital. Inside is a large, multi-roomed space with wooden and upholstered tables, soft lighting, stained glass and a non-working fireplace. Cask ale is served, and regulars include Fuller's London Pride, Sharp's Doom Bar and St Austell Tribute, with a changing guest beer. The pub says it serves home-cooked food, including a Sunday roast, and the vast garden has barbecues at weekends in good weather. It is listed as an Asset of Community Value.
