Independent pub · London
The Fox & Pheasant is a little country pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea, London. It was founded in 1846 as the Bedford Arms, became the Prince of Wales ten years later and took its current name in 1965. In winter it is snug, with three fireplaces, a dartboard and dog biscuits for well behaved dogs. The conservatory roof winds back for summer lunches. A bar snack menu of hearty pub classics runs all day. Sunday roasts also run all day, and the pub promises ample spuds, gravy and yorkies.
