Independent pub · Canterbury
The Fordwich Arms is in the Kent town of Fordwich, which the pub describes as officially England's smallest town. It stands beside the River Stour in a 1930s building, and CAMRA rates its interior as of very special national historic interest. The long, narrow public bar has a panelled counter, and the oak-panelled dining room has three open fires. The pub says it is Michelin-starred. There is a riverside terrace in the summer months, and CAMRA lists one changing beer.
