The Flower Pot is on King Street in Derby's Cathedral Quarter. It calls itself one of Derby's foremost real ale pubs, and CAMRA lists it as Derby CAMRA Pub of the Year 2025. At least eight beers are always on the bar, made up of firm favourites plus ever-changing guest ales. It is also one of the city's few live music venues, with free acoustic sessions. The stillage bar was once a car tyre centre. The outside area runs round the back and was renovated in 2021, and the pub has a newly built Sun Terrace.
