Independent pub · Salford
The Eagle Inn in Salford is a traditional pub and live music venue. CAMRA rates its interior as of special national historic interest. Built in 1902 in Edwardian Baroque style, it keeps much of its original fittings in a three-roomed layout. It is nicknamed the Lamp Oil. Regular beers include Holt's, with a changing guest often from Bootleg, and Old Rosie cider is on handpull. The pub says its 80-capacity music venue is open to bands, DJs, club nights and theatre. There is also a rehearsal room upstairs.
