It started in the mid-19th century as The Crown Inn and still has a tiled exterior of green and cream against red brick. Up to four cask ales are on offer, not all from Greene King. Inside are a front bar with a stand-up drinking area and a range of other rooms. The pub has two rooftop beer gardens with heaters and shelter. Dogs are welcome, and it hosts a Wednesday quiz.
