The Cricketers Arms

Independent pub · Pendlebury

About the pub

Cricketers Arms is a small red-brick Joseph Holt pub at 227 Manchester Road in Swinton. CAMRA dates it to around 1886 and calls it a cosy, family pub with a central bar serving a lounge on one side and a vault on the other. The bar serves local Joseph Holt ales and lagers, and CAMRA lists Holt's bitter as the regular beer. At the back is what the pub calls a sun-trap of a beer garden. There is live music and karaoke at the weekend, a midweek quiz, darts and live Sky Sports. Dogs are welcome and there is disabled access.
