Independent pub · London
The Counting House is a Fuller's pub and hotel at 50 Cornhill in the City of London. Previously a bank, it opened as a pub in 1997 and won an award for its sensitive refurbishment. The building dates to 1893 and is Grade II-listed. A large oval bar sits under a stained-glass dome, with a war memorial to the bank's staff inside. Changing beers typically include Five Points XPA and Thornbridge. Food is served, there is outside seating, and assistance dogs are welcome.
