Independent pub · London
The Castle is a pub at 225 Portobello Road, in the heart of Portobello market in Notting Hill, London. It was built as the Warwick Castle in 1853 and probably designed by Thomas Pocock, and the name was shortened in 2002. The pub says it offers British pub hospitality with individuality, character and quirky charm, and sits directly opposite the blue door from the film Notting Hill. It has two regular beers, though cask ales are not always available. Food includes sandwiches, brunches and Sunday roasts.
