The Castle is a corner pub in Islington, just off Pentonville Road. The three-storey building is described by CAMRA as an ex-Charringtons house built in 1789, with a fine Victorian bar back fitting from an 1890s re-fit. Upstairs is a rooftop garden with a big screen, and five more screens downstairs show sport on Sky Sports and TNT Sports. Food runs to pub favourites, small plates and a Sunday roast. Cask beers listed by CAMRA include Five Points Pale and Sharp's Atlantic.
