The Britannia is a Young's tied house at 1 Allen Street in Kensington, just off Kensington High Street. It was built in 1834 as the brewery tap of William Wells Britannia Brewery. Regular beers include Young's London Original and London Special. The interior is modern, with a 50-seat restaurant at the rear, outside seating along the side and a first-floor bar reached by a spiral staircase. The menu has fish and chips, with cider-battered haddock, and traditional Sunday roasts. Dogs are welcome.
