The Botanist is a bar and restaurant in St James Quarter, Edinburgh, a two-minute walk from Picardy Place tram stop. It is spread over two floors, with a lounge and large open bar, a feature stage for live music and a botanically themed restaurant. The bar offers an extensive range of draught beers alongside botanical cocktails, but no real ale. The terrace has rattan furniture and botanical planters. Live music plays on Fridays and Saturdays. Dogs are welcome in the bar and outdoor areas.
