The Blake is a community pub on Blake Street in Upperthorpe, Sheffield. It sits at the top of a steep hill and reopened as a free house in 2010 after seven years of closure. Inside are many Victorian features, including etched windows and mirrors, and there is no electronic games, TV or jukebox. The building was seen boarded up in the film The Full Monty. Regulars include Neepsend Blonde, alongside guest beers from small independent breweries. There are over 200 whiskies, a large decked garden at the rear, and dogs are welcome.
