Independent pub · Cardiff
The Black Griffin Inn is in the Cardiff village of Lisvane, opposite the church. The pub says its building has stood on the site for 400 years. The original village pub has been extended uphill to make a substantial restaurant area. It is a Greene King pub, with Old Speckled Hen, Abbot and Wye Valley Butty Bach among the regular cask beers. The pub appears in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide. There is an outdoor drinking area at the front, a dartboard, and dogs are welcome.
