Independent pub · Bristol
The Bank Tavern is a small pub tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Bristol city centre, hidden near the old city wall. It says it has stood since the 1800s and calls itself an independent free house with regular guest ales. The three guest beers vary in style and focus on local breweries, and a real cider is available. The pub has bare floorboards and green settles, with covered seating in the courtyard. Sports are shown on screen, there is a weekly quiz on Tuesdays, and the pub is known for its Sunday lunch.
