The Axe is a Stoke Newington pub that calls itself a Stokey local, established in 2017. The pub says it has 22 taps of the finest and rarest local and international beers, alongside natural wines and cocktails. CAMRA lists two cask ales on handpump, with the rest of the range on keg and in bottles. It took over what was Jan's Bar, and before that The Cricketers. The pub has a central bar and is locally listed. The food menu is pub classics, with a Sunday roast.
