The Abdication is an independent micropub in Daybrook, Nottingham, in Coronation Buildings directly opposite the Home Ales Brewery building. It has four hand pumps for real ales, from pale to dark, and four keg lines for things like strong IPAs, sours and lagers, with a changing line-up from independent breweries. Traditional ciders and perries, wine and gin are also served. The pub describes a parlour bar feel, like being in someone's front room, and says it is dog and family friendly. It says it has been in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide for 11 years in a row.
