Independent pub · Manchester
Rain Bar is a JW Lees pub on Great Bridgewater Street in Manchester, in a former umbrella factory beside the Rochdale canal. The pub says it has served award-winning JW Lees beers for over 26 years, and describes its central bar as stacked with award-winning cask ales, lagers, wines and spirits. Regular beers include JW Lees Bitter and Founder's. CAMRA lists it as an outstanding pub conversion. The large canal-side beer garden has a canopy and outdoor heaters, and the pub says it draws customers year round. Food includes a steak and ale pie made with the house bitter, plus a Sunday roast. Upstairs there is an events space with a private bar, and a function room for up to 120.
